Losing a credit card can be stressful, as there remains chances of it getting misused for unauthorized transactions. However, you can heave a sigh of relief as Citi ensures zero liability for lost credit cards. After you lose your credit card, you must report to us at the earliest.
Citibank Lost Card Protection
Once you report the loss or theft of your Card, you do not bear any charges on the possible misuse of your lost credit card thereafter.
Your Citibank lost Card will be replaced within 48 hours in the U.A.E. and within 4 working days anywhere in the world. You may opt for the Card to be mailed to your billing address or collect the Card from our branches at a nominal charge of AED 50. The Card can also be delivered at your doorstep if you are in the U.A.E for AED 60 and for AED 150 if you are outside the U.A.E.
How to report a lost card?
To report a lost credit card, you can contact us at +971 4 311 4000. You can also report an unauthorized transaction by filling out our Transaction Dispute Form and submitting it at a Citibank branch.
Missing the minimum payment due in any month and/or non-adherence to the bank’s Terms and Conditions may subject you to negative consequences and limit your ability to access further financing in the future, including but not limited to, late fee charges, a negative impact on your credit bureau rating, your card account going into arrears and/or collections measures which may include legal action and/or trigger all monies becoming due immediately. If you only make the minimum payment each month, you will pay more in interest and it will take you longer to pay off your outstanding balance.
