How to add a Citi Credit Card to Apple Pay?

Adding your Citi Mastercard Credit card to Apple Pay is simple. Just follow one of the following methods. Do not forget to set Citi as your default card on Apple Pay.

Adding a card via Wallet App

  • On iPhone, open the Wallet App, tap the '+' sign and follow instructions.
  • For Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select "Wallet & Apple Pay," then tap "Add Credit or Debit Card."
  • On iPad, go to Settings, open "Wallet & Apple Pay," and select "Add Credit or Debit Card."
  • On Macbook Pro with Touch id, go to system preferences, select "Wallet & Apple Pay," and then 'Add Card'.

Adding a card via Citi Mobile app

  • Open the Citi Mobile app on your iPhone and sign on.
  • Tap on the profile icon in the upper left-hand corner to go to 'Settings'.
  • Select the card you want to add.
  • If the card is eligible, you will see a "Add to Apple Pay." button
  • Tap on it & follow instructions.

You can also add your new card while activating it through the mobile app. Once activation is complete you will see a "Add to Apple Pay" button.


Set Citi as your default card on Apple Pay

  • Open Wallet.
  • Touch and hold your Citi Mastercard Credit Card then drag it to the front of your cards.
  • Your Citi Credit Card is now default card on Apple Pay.

 

You can also go to your device Settings & choose Citi as your default card.

Note: A single card can be added to a maximum of 4 devices.

Apple Pay is the easier, faster way to pay in apps and on the web because you no longer have to create an account or fill out lengthy forms.*

To pay in apps and on websites in Safari on your iPhone and iPad, select Apple Pay at checkout and complete the payment using Face ID or Touch ID.

To pay on websites in Safari on your Mac, select Apple Pay and complete the payment using your iPhone or Apple Watch. On MacBook Pro, pay using Touch ID on the Touch Bar.
